Online Gift Market gets a Boost

DUBLIN, 22 July 2008,. Web development firm SitesToGo InternetLAB today announced the acquisition of online gift voucher portal www.giftgallery.ie from GG Vouchers Limited
More than just an online gift voucher shop, GiftGallery provides merchants with a low cost entry into the online lucrative gift voucher market and the facility to sell their own gift vouchers through their website without further development costs. This is of great benefit to GiftGallery merchants like Dublin based Buff Day Spa

SitesToGo InternetLAB, the Offaly based e-business provider, offers a full range of updateable websites which help more than 600 SMEs, community groups and organisations to have an effective e business presence.

Maggie Bowen, Managing Director of SitesToGo InternetLAB says, “Our clients stand to benefit from this acquisition by increasing revenue and profitability from their online presence, and all merchants on the site will benefit from increased marketing spend in the important pre-Christmas season for gift buying”

“Gift vouchers account for about 10% of the gift market in Ireland and are projected to be worth €1.3bn this year” she adds “As lifestyles dictate convenience and online purchases reach record growth in Ireland, it’s a ‘no-brainer’ to capitalise on this by adding online gift voucher purchasing to a business website and to take advantage of added distribution through GiftGallery.ie”
